If you're tight on space, our custom built-to-order 18"x24" laminar flow hood may be exactly the right size. This flow hood features an 18” x 24” x 6” 99.99 to .3 microns HEPA filter and is powered by a Dayton or comparable centrifugal blower and includes a pre-filter. The unit is constructed from half-inch cabinet-grade birch plywood (no formaldehyde or VOC) cut using lapped miter routers that create self-indexing joints. This improved construction process provides more surface area for adhesion resulting in a superior bond and airtight construction. The cabinet has two coats of low VOC water-based polyurethane finish creating a low maintenance surface. The HEPA filter is protected by an aluminum grill. The grill can be removed for easy replacement of the HEPA filter when the time comes, typically after five years of average use. Overall dimensions are 25"x20"x32", weighing in at 70 pounds. Comes fully assembled, ready to plug and play thanks to the top-mounted switch.
